Inshore Fishing report:


The Redfish and Trout bite has been steady. The water temps are rising and the Redfish & Trout have been lurking around the drop offs around flats eating everything in sight. 


Snook season is open from Feb 1 - May 31. & Sept 1 through Nov 31 Port Canaveral is home to many very large and very hungry Snook.   


Fishing Reports


Near Shore Fishing report: 


The Triple Tail are showing up with the rising water temps. We are at the beginning of the Cobia migration through our near shore waters. 


Tarpon will be showing up as soon as water temps reach 78+. All reports are indicating a good fishing season. 


Kingfish have been active off shore. Spring and summer are good times to hook a smoker kingfish near the beaches.


No proposed season for Red Snapper in 2018.

 The East Coast of Florida offers year round fishing for various species including Triple Tail, Cobia, Tarpon, Snook, Kingfish & Flounder. Certain times of the year are best for many of the Atlantic's migratory species. 


The rivers and lagoons around the space coast offer year round fishing for Redfish, Trout & Black Drum. We have some of the best inshore fishing in the state.  

What's on the hook?

Inshore species include Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon & Black Drum. 

Inshore waters include the Intracoastal waters around the space coast area including the world famous Mosquito Lagoon.

Near shore species include Triple Tail, Snook, Cobia, Tarpon & Kingfish. Near Shore waters include the Atlantic ocean near Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach & Satellite Beach.
